Introduction

July has been focused on making Hexiosec ASM easier to access, easier to understand, and easier to manage.

This month we’ve introduced Asset Discovery Snapshot to our website, giving you an instant view of your organisation’s internet-facing assets. We’ve also enabled scan metrics on dashboards, making it easier to compare key figures across multiple scans. Alongside this, we’ve made changes to our pricing tiers, including improvements to our Free account.

Asset Discovery Snapshot

Asset Discovery Snapshot gives you an instant snapshot of your organisation’s internet-facing assets.

Instead of waiting for a full continuous scan, you can quickly see what domains, IPs and services are exposed online. This gives you a fast starting point for understanding your external attack surface, whether you’re reviewing your own organisation, assessing a new acquisition, or checking the internet-facing presence of a supplier.

Asset Discovery Snapshot is designed to help you answer questions such as:

  • What does our organisation currently have exposed online?
  • Are there domains or IPs we weren’t expecting to see?
  • Where should we focus our attention first?
  • Do we need a deeper continuous scan to monitor risks over time?

This gives teams a quick way to get visibility before deciding what to investigate, remediate or monitor next. Asset Discovery Snapshot is available on our website for all to use.

Scan metrics on dashboards

Scan metrics are now available on dashboards, helping you compare key figures across multiple scans in one place.

This builds on the cross-scan dashboard, giving you more context when reviewing several organisations, suppliers, subsidiaries or customer environments. Instead of opening each scan individually, you can now use dashboard metrics to understand how important values differ across your selected scans and how they are changing over time.

This can help you to:

  • Compare scan size, risk levels and health scores across multiple scans.
  • Identify which scans need the most attention.
  • Track changes over time across a portfolio of scans.
  • Prioritise remediation work based on the metrics that matter most to your organisation.

For MSPs, this gives a clearer way to review customers side by side. For larger organisations, it helps teams compare different brands, business units or suppliers from a single dashboard view.

Tier changes

We’ve updated our tiers to make Hexiosec ASM easier to get started with and clearer to choose from.

As part of this, we’ve opened up more functionality for free accounts so smaller organisations can get a useful view of their internet-facing assets and risks without needing to move straight to a paid plan. This makes a free account the perfect next step after checking your organisation using Asset Discovery Snapshot

We’ve reduced the free account domain and IP allowance so the tier remains focused on smaller attack surfaces, while paid tiers continue to support larger organisations, continuous monitoring and more advanced workflows.

These changes are intended to make it simpler to:

  • Try Hexiosec ASM before committing to a paid plan.
  • Understand which tier is right for your organisation.
  • Give smaller organisations an accessible way to review their external attack surface.
  • Support larger teams with the deeper monitoring and management features they need.

Coming soon

We’ve got some exciting features coming over the next couple of months. Please get in touch if there are any features you would like to see us add to our roadmap.

  • More tags for scans - We’ll be extending our tagging capability, allowing you to tag scans as well as results, and filter more easily, so you can focus on what matters most. This enables you to add business context to your scan results to manage and prioritise your risks as effectively as possible.
  • Supply chain risk management - While Hexiosec ASM already supports scanning your supply chain, we are making some exciting changes to how you can view and manage the risks associated with your supply chain. This includes a dashboard to allow you to view suppliers side by side, and a number of new meaningful metrics which will allow you to really understand the security posture of your supply chain, rather than hiding behind an opaque risk score.
