Recipients should always be cautious with links, and apply due diligence before clicking. Hexiosec Transfer is intended for sharing files between people who are already in communication, and so the sender should be familiar to the recipient, the file(s) expected and the context clear. Ultimately, as a recipient, if you're not sure about it then don't click the link until you have spoken to the sender to verify its legitimacy.

Hexiosec Transfer is hosted in a Google Data Centre in London, UK. Enterprise customers can choose which region their encrypted content is stored in, from any of Google's worldwide data centre locations. For non-Enterprise customers, their encrypted data is also stored in London.

Only the intended recipient(s) can access the file. Even Hexiosec staff cannot view your file contents, as they remain encrypted with strict key management. This is unchanged by any legal attempt to access the file. Access is fully controlled by the sender and logged for audit purposes.

We use AES-256 encryption for files at rest and additionally TLS 1.3 for files in transit, following industry best practices for secure communication. These protocols are widely regarded as the highest standard in encryption, but aren't the only security meansures we apply to Hexiosec Transfer.
