As our first product to market, Hexiosec Transfer is something we are all extremely proud of; it is secure by design, with true end-to-end encryption at its heart, balanced with a simple user experience that’s easy to adopt.
We’re now expanding its capabilities beyond the peer-to-peer sharing that it focuses on today, to support many more real world scenarios. Our ultimate goal is to help organisations always share sensitive information securely.
You may notice some changes to the way Hexiosec Transfer looks as we get ready to roll out these new, exciting features.
The new era of secure file sharing
At a high level, we’re introducing 3 new capabilities in addition to secure file sharing:

Secure forms - request information and files in a structured way from your customers and partners.

Secure spaces - collaborate with customers and partners securely, sharing documents relating to a given project in one place.

Secure email - protect your email content and attachments from unauthorised access, or being accidentally shared with the wrong person.
Secure forms
Many organisations need to collect information from customers or partners: onboarding details, due diligence documents, claims, applications, audits, and more. Usually, this means insecure web forms or files emailed back and forth.
Hexiosec Transfer’s Secure Forms feature will allow you to request data and files in a structured way, that always keeps the data secure and private. For example, if you regularly onboard new customers, you could use a secure form to request the personal details you require, and also any supporting documents, like proof of ID or proof of address.
You will provide your customer with a personalised link where they can complete the form, and their responses will be encrypted before leaving their device. Their data can only be decrypted by you, or your colleagues with delegated access.
You can build templates to create forms that meet your business’ requirements, streamlining and securing the process of requesting personal data.
Secure spaces
Projects rarely involve just one file or one message. They unfold over weeks or months and involve contribution from multiple people across multiple organisations.
Hexiosec Transfer’s Secure Spaces will allow you to keep all documents and communication securely in one place for all authorised parties to access - no more scattered documents across various insecure email threads. If you work on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or on cyber incident responses, being efficient, and secure is vital from start to finish.
Secure Spaces will provide a dedicated, end-to-end encrypted workspace for each project, allowing for efficient, private document sharing. Keeping all documents in one place allows you to manage strict access control and keep a detailed audit trail of all actions.
Secure email
Email remains the world’s most common communication tool, yet it’s one of the most vulnerable. Misaddressed messages, intercepted attachments, and compromised inboxes create daily risk to organisations of all sizes.
Hexiosec Transfer’s Secure Email will give protection that ensures every message and attachment is encrypted end-to-end. It will also mean content can’t be forwarded to or accessed by unintended recipients (with access also being instantly revokable) meaning you maintain full visibility and control.
Our Outlook add-in brings vital security and privacy to a communication tool that desperately needs it, without forcing users to change the way they work.
