Transfer allows you to set links to expire after a certain number of downloads, or after a number of days, meaning if the recipient's inbox is compromised the attacker would not be able to access the files.
You can also add password protection to links as an extra layer of security while they are still active, but be sure to send the password via a different method to email.
Quick to set up
The Outlook add-in supports Outlook on Windows, Outlook on MacOS and Outlook on the Web. Available to customers on an Enterprise tier, all it requires is a simple, one-off setup.
The add-in can be installed for individual users or centrally deployed across your organisation using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Centralised deployment is recommended for IT administrators, as it simplifies setup and allows for better control within your Microsoft 365 environment.
