Advancing cyber security through shared innovation
We’ve been privileged to contribute to initiatives that strengthen cyber security across the UK. Here are just a few of the highlights:
- Supporting NCSC Guidance: We participated in the ACD 2.0 trials to help the National Cyber Security Centre develop its External Attack Surface Management (EASM) Buyer’s Guide . This guide provides practical advice for organisations looking to improve resilience and manage external risks effectively.
- National Picture of Risk: For the third year running, we have scanned all local authorities to support improving cyber security at a national level. For the second consecutive year, we partnered with Jisc to deliver a comprehensive view of cyber risk across the education sector. By scanning all .ac.uk domains and comparing findings to last year, we helped institutions better understand and manage their exposure.
- Privacy Testing with Which?: We collaborated with Which? to test mobile app privacy, ensuring consumer trust and transparency remain at the forefront.
Product updates: making security seamless
This year, our commitment to precision and performance has driven every enhancement. Here are some of the key improvements we’ve delivered to keep your experience seamless and secure:
Hexiosec ASM

EPSS Scoring: We added Exploit Prediction Scoring System (EPSS) to help prioritise vulnerabilities based on real-world exploit likelihood.

Single Sign-On (SSO): We introduced SSO support for easier access and stronger security.

Cloud Connectors: We expanded Hexiosec ASM to include AWS, GCP, and Azure assets in your attack surface view.

Enhanced Checks: We added new checks for TLS versions and certificates and Content Security Policy (CSP).

UX Improvements: We made continuous enhancements to make data views customisable and navigation more intuitive.
Hexiosec Transfer
- CLI for Enterprise: We added a Command Line Interface for programmatic interaction.
- Admin Views: We introduced dashboards for administrators to increase visibility and improve audit trails.
- Domain Allow Lists: We added domain allow lists to provide easier control over file transfer permissions.
- SharePoint Integration: We added seamless file transfers directly from SharePoint, reducing the need for local copies.
- Secure Multi-Use Requests: We delivered multi-use file sharing requests for greater flexibility.
- UX Refresh: We improved homepage views for both signed-in and public users.

Next year we’ll be delivering even more value. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming next:
- Hexiosec Transfer: We are excited to be launching Secure Forms, Secure Spaces and Secure Email to make secure collaboration even easier.
- Hexiosec ASM: Based on your feedback, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be rolling out the highly requested resource tagging feature, giving you more control and organization than ever before. We’ll be enriching risk context to make remediation simpler and further cut down on noise. We’ll also be expanding our capabilities to support custom comparisons, providing even more context around your cyber security health.
